The fellowship ministry provides events and activities where members of the congregation can meet in a social setting and have an opportunity to create and enhance personal relationships with other members.

While activities are provided for all members, a special focus is on new members with luncheon every quarter where new members can meet the Southwest leadership and be encouraged to integrate themselves into the congregation through friendships, involvement in ministries and inclusion in a LIFE group.

Another goal is to find ways to involve members who do not traditionally get involved. Through the right activities and settings, we hope to help break down barriers that prevent any member’s full inclusion into the life of the body at Southwest.
