Monday Night for the Master

Monday Night for the Master is the focus of the church’s outreach to the community.

Church members of all ages – from school age to seniors – meet at the Southwest building at 6 o’clock on Monday evenings for a meal (provided).

At 6:30, various groups begin work – visiting shut-ins and new visitors, writing and mailing cards, and making phone calls of encouragement and welcome. World Bible School lessons also are graded and sent to students all over the world.

Two new programs have started this year: using e-mail to promote Southwest, as well as encouraging and thanking visitors for attending services, and, through the World English Institute, helping people learn English by reading the Scriptures.

Childcare is provided for infants and younger children; older children have opportunities to serve. Groups normally conclude by 8 o’clock. (Monday Night for the Master takes a break during the summer.) It is a great time of fun, fellowship and service to our Lord.
