It’s Not Just About Me…

(1 Corinthians 10:33)

Jesus designed His church to reach out to the hurting, the lost, and seeking.  He has given us the example of putting others first by ministering to their needs.  We are called to have a Christ-like attitude that will produce in us a spirit of fellowship, service and concern for others.  Join us this Sunday as we look for ways to put others “first” as we reach out to those God sends our way.

On Sunday, February 28th, Mick Potter committed his life to Christ by being baptized.  He chose to be baptized in the pond behind one of our member's home.  Do you know what motived his decision?  Watch the video and find out. 

Recently one of the boys who attends our Tuesday morning Tigard High School breakfast decided to commit his life to Christ in baptism.  Christian was baptized by our youth minister, Jeff Grow, in the ocean at Cannon Beach.  The angels truly rejoiced!

GriefShare is a Bible-based grief recovery group for those grieving the death of a loved one.  Through videos, homework and small group discussions, participants will learn to work through the grief process and will feel love and acceptance from their small group.  Come and find out what GriefShare is all about at a preview.

Next Session Begins - Sunday, February 21st, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and continuing weekly until May 16.  Registration is $20 and includes the workbook.  No child care is available.
