Youth Minister
Lincoln Shotts is a 2023 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with his Bachelor of Science in Ministry. He grew up in Alabama and worked at the Bartlett Woods Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee for 2 years after college before moving to Oregon and starting at Southwest in 2025. He has been happily married to Anna since 2022 and they have one legendary dog, Momo. He loves Jesus, coffee, the Auburn Tigers, The Green Bay Packers, nature, TV shows, and has many other interests. Teenage years are some of the most important and awkward years of a person's life, and guiding teens to Jesus is a huge passion for him.

Jody Compton
Children's Minister
Jody graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a major in English and minors in Education and French. Upon graduation, she taught middle school Language Arts and beginning French at Fairmont Junior High in Boise, Idaho. In 1988 Jody married her husband, Marc, and moved to the Dallas, Tx metro area where she taught at one of the nation’s first At-Risk high schools. Jody and her family have been members at Southwest since 2004. She taught children's and adult women's classes before becoming Children's Minister in 2017. Jody has three adult children; Riley, Cassidy, and Carley.
Jenny Mears
Children's Ministry Associate
Jenny has been a member of the Southwest family since she was a young child and spent her college years studying Advertising and Design at Oklahoma Christian University. After graduation, Jenny spent a year in missions at the Church of Christ in Gosford, Australia before getting married to her husband Jared in 2005. She has worked in both the graphic design industry and a local tax office seasonally. Over the years, Jenny has served the church body at Southwest through volunteering in the nursery, teaching Bible classes, helping with VBS and leading Women's Ministry events. Jenny has two wonderful children, Hudson and Emmi.
Gail Hess
Office Manager
Gail has served alongside her husband, David, at Southwest since 1986 in many different capacities. Just a couple of ways include: serving as a teacher and director at the Southwest Preschool, where she continues to greet and support families of young children, also working as an administrator since 2011 where she makes people a priority. Gail has been married to David since 1984 and they have 3 kids, and 3 grandsons. She loves worshiping with her church family and building community.
Barry Galindo
Outreach/Involvement Minister
Barry is a graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas and has been in the ministry for over 35 years. He was a missionary in Toluca, Mexico for 10 years and helped establish both a church and a Bible Institute (I.L.E.B.), that continues to train men and women for ministry all over Latin America. After returning from the mission field, he served as a minister for the Sherwood Church of Christ in Odessa, Texas for 7 years before coming to Southwest. He has been married to his wife, Denise, for over 37 years and has 4 children and 3 grandsons.
